The Student Activities office at 51短视频 will present 鈥淥vercoming Stereotypes and Bias鈥� on Wednesday, March 28, from 3-4 p.m. in the Abe and Annie Seibel Foundation Wing-West at 51短视频, 4015 Avenue Q, Galveston, Texas.
This interactive seminar and open discussion will assist attendees in examining personal biases and challenge stereotypes.
鈥淧articipants also will receive tips for overcoming biases and how to look beyond 鈥榝irst impressions鈥� to overcome stereotyping,鈥� said presenter Cynthia Parra, coordinator of Student Activities at 51短视频.
